PT/APTT Mixing Studies

Seeking good journal articles & other references that describe the
performance, interpretation, and usefulness of PT/APTT mixing studies.
Especially helpful would be those involving mixing studies drawn and
performed immediately post-op after a senerio of recent, well-controlled
coumadin use, a fall in Hgb from 13.5g to 7.1g over five hours, and a
surgical procedure which included heparin/protamine sulfate and
associated administration of ffp/cryo/prbc and platelet pheresis
products.

Thanks,

Orin
