Guillan Barre Syndrome

I recently had a patient with Guillan Barre following chickenpox infection.
Is this a common aetiology ?  Can anyone tell me which other infections they
have had causing this syndrome ?

I would also be grateful on any views comparing the efficacy of plasma
electrophoresis and immunoglobulins as treatments.

My understanding is there is little role for electrophoresis in management
of this condition.

Many thanks

Don Sims

to know if it is transmitable to humans.  The lamb

methadone levels in blood at autopsy

I am interested in learning more about this. What is a high level
per/dl? What is low? What does 9.4 micrograms per dl mean in an autopsy
report. Is this a high level, a low one. The person was on a methadone
maintenance program; so there should have been methadone in the system;
but the question is whether this is a high or a low level. Any help in
this would be appreciated; websites, articles, more information to study
on this. Thanks, Lyn

Gama GT blood level

Hi, I have just had a blood test done and have a high Gama GT level, of
254.

My Physician only thought this could be due to Alcohol, but I do not
drink at all.
I do suffer from Crohns and have been taking Flaygl long term.

Does anyone here have any other ideas why this Game GT level would be
high?

Email or post reply.

Thanks

Phil

This Week (may 24) on HoloTalk: (www.holoworld.com)

This weeks’ guest is Jason Sapan from Holographic Studios in New York —
one of the oldest laser and holography studios/galleries in the world.
Jason talks about producing some of the finest integral holograms from
chemical molecules to media personalities, computer generated holography
including receiving the images directly from the client on the Internet and
his views and feelings on the field of holography from his many years of
involvment.

HoloTalk is brought to you on the World Wide Web in RealAudio format at:

http://www.holoworld.com

ALSO NEW:

The Internets most powerful search engine for laser and holograms is now up
and running. Search topics with over 50 keywords and have your information
compiled into one response from the top net engines, UseNet postings (both
within the past 60 days and usenet archives), over 100 newspapers and
