Scavenger Hunt question – Help!

I’m working on a Scavenger Hunt, and one of the items is a label from
a grocery product containing Ethylenediamine Dihydroiodide.

Anyone know what the heck this compound is??  I have looked in
indexes and asked Food Science people with no luck.  It is not
necessarily in food, i.e. it could be in floor polish, or anything
sold at a supermarket.

Our deadline is Wednesday Dec. 13, so if you have any ideas please
e-mail me directly A.S.A.P.  Thanks a lot!

Ethylenediamine dihydroiodide is FDA-approved as a food additive (source
    of iodine) for animal feeds.

I would try looking for pet food containing this ingredient.
